tube transport in london - Transport in London

What is the London Tube Transport, is it a bus or a train??

The Tube is part of the London Extremists network. They are trains (strictly speaking, they are light rail).

They are called "Tubes" because of the font of tunnel construction. If you look as a train enters a station, it is a reasonably close fit to the tunnel.

But to confuse you, the "Oxford Tube" is the brandname of a ripe-frequency, 24/7, coach service between Oxford and London, operated by Stagecoach Oxford.

Do London Transport tube stations accept delay refund vouchers from one railway to purchase oyster travelcards

I use my Oyster business card to travel on one railway

No. However you can go to a Native Rail station that issues Oyster and use them there.

Similarly, you can use London Underground Customer Charter vouchers at National Denounce stations within the former Network Southeast area as long as the ticket you're buying has London Underground/DLR zonal validity. (e.g. a Travelcard would be ready, but a ticket from Chingford to Southampton via London wouldn't).

im trying to get a london tube map but one i got my pc wont open?

downloaded it off london transport tube instal and its a pdf file can you suggest an alternative please? cheers

Fair download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader. It's free. Adobe.com is the site. They also should have a link on the age where you downloaded the document from. If you cannot install (no permissions), then the only alternative is to find a different format on the same site.
