Where can I find the film of the London Theater production "Camelot" with Richard Harris?
I am looking for the THEATER portrayal of the play "Camelot" with Richard Harris. NOT the movie. I used to have a copy of the play, but now it is intermittent. If anyone knows where I can buy a copy of the play please let me know. It was put on by the London Theater. I've tried looking in a general search and came up with nothing. I also tried Ebay and came up with nothing as well. Any facilitate would be appreiciated.
I dont want the movie, I want a copy of the actual play that was preformed in 1982 with Richard Harris. I certain you can buy a copy of the reporduction of the play. But I want an ACTUAL copy of the play. So if you know where I can buy one. Please let me know.
You may poverty to check with the Samuel French, Inc. website. They have a pretty good handle on all stage plays that have been produced over the last 150 years. They have a "with us" button and you can ask them directly where a copy of the play you are looking for may be purchased. Their website is:
http://www.samuelfrench.com/supply/
They deal primarily in stage play manuscripts but perhaps they would know where you may obtain a film of the production, if one was produced, or they may be masterly to guide you to the play's production company itself.
I hope this helps.
Alan Rickman and London theater groups?
Is anyone posted of any new theater productions Alan Rickman is planning or currently working on? I'm aware he's currently filming for a few movies, but I'm talking about strictly theater.
Also, does anyone have an awareness of which theater in London he primarily works with? What ARE the different troupes in London anyhow?
I'm curious as to this because not too long from now I'll be traveling to London to pursue my acting later, and it would be nice to have a heads up on opportunities.
The first constituent provided below is the most up-to-date working schedule that I could find. I do know that he doesn't have a particular affiliation with any theatre. He did try to buy the Riverside Theatre (which would have given him his own ensemble), but he failed in this quest. He appears to have concentrated on film work for the years three to four years.
Just lately any theatrical involvement has been with his play, 'My Name is Rachel Corrie' (written in collabortion with Katherine Viner), which he directs. It has a contentious theme and ran into trouble when it was scheduled and then postponed at Off-Broadway's New York Theatre Workshop. (See second associate).
Before this his last theatrical endeavour was the part of Elyot in a revival of Noel Coward's 'Private Lives' at The Albery Opera house in the West End. (October 2001 to January 2002).
In 2003 he was made Vice-Chairman of RADA.
The third link provided is a seven attendant biography, which is extremely thorough and which will give you all the information about his theatrical and film career to date.
What do you think about the London Theater is making an opera of the life of Anna Nicole Smith?

what does one wear to the theater in London?
Accepted to see Les Miserables in London @ the Queen's Theater. What do people dress like when going to the theater in London? I certainly don't want to stand overdressed but I want to wear something nice...
Something unexpected/smart.
Like Linen trousers or something.
I'm going to see Grease soon In Piccadilly and i'm effective to wear linen trousers and a top.
You want to be comfortable.
What are the best seats at the Apollo Victoria theater in London?
Which are the superior seats? Obviously not all the seats that are the highest prices are the best. There are some cheaper seats which are also very good. Anyone know which seats those are?
I saw Movin Out there a few weeks ago, and its an vast space compared to some of the other venues in London. What is interesting about it, is that they tend not to sell the front sides, which are excellent seats. I bought a stool in the stalls/orchestra almost halfway back, but was able to easily move up. If its something thats going to sell out, the back of the stalls/rear orchestra is not too bad, but I would be punctilious of moving further back than the first four rows in the back half. If you must sit up in the Dress Circle, get as far forward as possible.
I'm assuming you're looking into Hideous tickets. For that show, ESPECIALLY with Idina Menzel, I would go the extra pounds and get a good seat.
