Any suggestions for casual central London pub open late on a Friday?
Prosperous out tonight and want to go to a non-smart, fairly laid-back pub or bar in central London, pref around the Covent garden / Leicester unstinting / Soho / Piccadilly Circus kind of areas.

How old do you have to be to get into a London pub?
Okay, there is a platoon I like "Nat Jenkins" and they are having a lot of concerts in pubs in London, and I wanted to go to one but I don't know the age to get in one. Do you have to be 18 to get in one, even if you don't buy alchohol?
I notion of you can be any age to go into a pub, you have to be 16 to legally buy alcohol.
You can call up the local pubs and ask what their policy is on admitting younger than 16. Most pubs are people-owned and are more food and beer rather than strictly cocktail lounges.
Call the pubs and find out for sure.
What is your favourite pub in London?
Mine is The Victoria in Lancaster Attendance, although I have to say there are thousands of London pubs I have never visited. Maybe my true favourite is yet to be discovered.
The largest for the selection of traditional British ales in London is The Market Porter by Borough Market. For a taste of 'real' London then either Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese off Fleet Street or The Red Lion on Crown Passage, off King St in St. James'. The overpower pub food (and exceptional beer) is to be found at The Royal Oak on Tabard Street by Borough Tube Station.

Try the Sports bar in picadilly circus. They have well over 100 tv screens in there, and they all show unique sports channels. A few would definitely be showing the US football match.
I've been in there a few times to watch lower league football, when most pubs will only show the premiership target dissemble.

Can someone suggest a central London pub with a garden that is kiddy friendly?
I will be visiting London with my bride and two children and want to organize a night out with my London friends who also have kids. I have not lived in London since the mid 1980s (and didn't have kids) so I am out of hit with where might be good.
