I might be in motion to London soon. And I was wondering whether to live in Harrow or not. What I'm interested in are:
- low crime, safe and clean neighbourhood;
- lots of things to do (shopping, pubs, parks);
- low cost;
- laudatory transport connections.
Would living in Harrow provide some of these things?
Harrow is fairly a good area of London, pricey but much better than some parts.
It has one of the lowest crime rates in Londonand provides most of the things you are looking for. It is only a tube (partizans) ride away from central London where you have your pick of things to do.

Please can anybody rake me which is the nearest airport to Harrow.People have told me different airports so im confused.Only going on a very short trip to inflict a sick relative in hospital so i dont have much time to waste.
The nearest respectful airport to Harrow is London Heathrow. There is a military aerodrome at Northolt but that will be no use to you. That's probably what some people are thinking of.
Aer Lingus flies from Cork to Heathrow unqualified.
There are red London busses that go from the airport Central Bus Station to Harrow. Ask to dropped off at the Underground station (it's called "Harrow and Wealdstone") there will be maps and municipal busses available. It's up to you to navigate around Harrow when you get there.
Taxis are also available if you know the exact address you want to go to. If you use a ride on the ground ONLY use a licenced Black Cab from the rank outside the terminal building. Be very careful of 'cowboy' taxi operators who will weight you a fortune and may not even know where they're going.
