Wedding Requirements England - List of tallest structures in London

what are the requirements for a civil wedding in England if I'm Peruvian and my fiance is french?

i exist now in Peru and my fiance lives in London, we want to get married there, and i would like to know what papers we need to record and if someone knows if is easy to get this kind of visa

I surmise you're planning on settling in England. I'm afraid you're in for a bumpy ride.

I just got married in Scotland- I am American, and my hide is British. You need to obtain a fiance visa- the process is invasive, expensive and full of tricky red tape. I advocate your fiance obtain the help of a solicitor who specializes in immigration issues.

Start with this website: http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/fiance_visa.html

Lofty luck, and as someone who just went through a lot of trouble with this same thing, a bit of advice: keep your eyes on the prize. If I hadn't been barmy in the crumpet in love, I never would've made it through this process...

Catholic marrying in Church of England - Wedding Banns?

Hi - some admonition please?

I'm a non-practicing catholic and will be getting married in a different parish in a Chuch of England Church.

The Cof E vicar has stated that I demand banns read in my local parish.

I've contacted the local catholic church and they have told me that they don't do Banns in the Widespread church but that they can do 2 things:

1) Confirm verbally via a phone call to the vicar that I have not been married in the last 6 months (I've lived in the parish for only 6 months).

or

2) Undertaking to get a dispensation by providinbg a letter from every parish I've lived in since I was 16. (I've been very mobile and have lived in many)

Questiosns:

- Does (1) a expressed phone call meet the legal requirements?

- Am I simply allowed to contact the local Church of England church and ask them, to read Banns (carriage in mind I'm Catholic)?

Thanks.)

Go to your neighbourhood pub registrar, they'll post the banns.
