It says report to your local oversee if the plot involves less than £750,000, but I'd start by ringing Scotland Yard up and they'll redirect you suitably.

bank account fraud and identity theft?
Jan 25, 2009 by aerogirl06 | Posted in Security
i a moment ago recently had all of my money stolen out of my bank account, they got to it thru the internet, thru my debit cards, please be careful, it will take 2 weeks for the bank to modify this, the charges were made in london, england. guard your info and keep an eye on your accounts. has this happened to anyone else?
It has happened to me, and when I was younger I did it to other people, theres some things you can do to tend yourself. If you use firefox there is an addon you can download called WOT (Web of trust) which warns you about any website you go to which people have reported as a scam. When your press card online, always check the url at the top of your screen. If it starts with 'https:' it's more secure than 'http' due to the environment of the protocol that handles it.
Lastly if you want to 'secure' your identity, look into getting a service like 'lifelock' (http://www.lifelock.com/) which will traces your credit use and if anything fishy or 'big' shows up, you will be notified instantly.

my sister betrayed me through identity theft?
Jun 07, 2007 by jennifer_santolla | Posted in Family
My upper crust friend, (my sister) stole my identity. And i'm having heaps of trouble getting over it. I've moved out of the countryside years ago but always come home several times a year just to see her and her kids. I loved her!!! And thought she loved me.
3 years ago she said that she wanted me to take protect of her children if her and her husband died and that her lawyer wanted my SS no. I gave it to her without question.
Then me and my husband moved to america from england. I lived there for 10 years. Married an englishmen and brought him to america for a advantage way of living. We could afford to buy a house here. We were trying to get a 200K mortgage when I found out I had several loans and 5 credit cards unpaid in my name.
Does this foreshadow she hates me? She won't stop lying and keeps getting caught lying. Why is she doing this to me??? We've always been go out of business. Was I wrong? Do you ruin the life of someone you love? This is more than greed, it's taking away my future. HELP!!!
She's stomach-turning. Call the authorities.
