It seems that every time I'm about to go on a trip I despatch the hand stitching that could go with me! It has happened again.
I'm flying to England on Wednesday evening...arriving Thursday in Manchester and catching a followers to Birmingham...to Mathias and Laura-Jane's apartment which I've only seen in photos. I've got all sorts of great plans for my on one occasion in England...more than just ballet. In fact, I'm only seeing ONE performance of Sylvia. Where can I find background information on London, England?

I am doing a newspaper class brochure on London for one of my classes. And I want to start off with a small paragraph on background information on London, however, when i typewrite that into the computer and I click on one of the results, it gives me unecessary information. I need information such as when London was founded, what it took to build London, who built it, when was it built, what countryside or land was there before London? If you have any suggestion I would appreciate it. My project isn't due for days and I could use all the help I can get.
Oh no!!! I don't destitution all that information in one paragraph. Those are just some suggestions. Just general things that I would like to put in my paper.

Is it possible to run a background check on somebody from England?

Depends what affectionate of background check, but generally it would have to be for a legitimate reason. For example, if that person was to work with children, then a background check by the police would be made. If you're doing it from out of doors, then it might prove even more difficult. We have our privacy laws here.

I`m 26 yo and Romanians scarcity a work permit, which I don`t have. I`m going to go there to work as an au-pair but I would like to do smth else in an year or so. Help!
You are open to take up any form of self-employment - you will need to register as self-empolyed and pay national insurance. If you can support yourself you wil have no problems!
For training, I muse over you would have to pay for most courses, but yur best bet is to check out colleges once you get here on your au pair visa.
It is very likely that in two or three years employment restrictions on Romanians will be lifted, once things reside down a bit.
By the way, make sure that your au pair employers treat you right, don't be a slave to them!
