how did the industrial revolution effect politics in great britain?

Several ways....two for example

The move from an agarian society to an urban society brought the people into small spaces and much closer together politically in lieu of of being clanish.

Soon there were labor unions formed and they moved from the labor market into the arena of politics too to try to help the labor jemmy

this is more of an answer to a question that i could find in politics and gov. concerning why great britain jo?

this is a very harmful decision on the part of great britain's policians!!!esp.the queen herself!!!!!!but there is a prophetic fulfillment coming concerning their demise along with two other nations!!!!!that will not approve with a certain world ruler that is coming to reform this european union which if you recall the in a.d 478 the fall of the anceint roman empire!!!!!!!!!!well this is precisely the area in europe that forms the european union!!!!read the book of daniel!!!!!!chapter 2!!!there you will understand of a certtain dream of the king of babylon had!!!of a great image of a man!!!!this image is made from various metals and material
the loaf of gold represents the first kingdom ruled by the babylonians whose king had this dream given him by god to reveal the kingdoms that would inflame and fall from the babylonian empire to the persians and medes!!!!on to the ancient roman empire when you come to the feet or ten toes of the reification this is the picture of the revived roman empire!!!that will be half strong and half weak!!!!represented by iron clashing with clay!!!!!!the clay representing half that kingdom divided the iron is the strong part of that revived empire!!!!this is a days empire yet to come from out of this now european union!!!!!note there are two european unions!!!one is the one great britain joined!!!the other is the w.e.u.this one has ten permanet european nations!!!!!!!!!and they have downright governmental authority over policies made by both european unions!!!!and they make judicial rulings for both!!!if you read proclamation 13:1 you'll understand further concerning these ten nations!!!!the beast with ten horns rising out of the sea is symbolic of the roman antichrist who will get about out possibly from a western region that makes up the w.e.u.that seems to fit the ten horns which the beast in revelation comes up with!!!!the ten crowns on those ten horns stand for the former anceint status of kingdoms that ruled the roman empire!!!!
the sea is symbolic of the nations of the world!!!tongues and distinctive peoples!!!!from this man will rise during a turbulent time of crisis!!!!!!
the seven heads represent his affiliation with a fantastic wide apostate religious system and its false religious leader!!!!this apostate world religious league is also known as a harlot!!!!!and is sitting on seven mountains!!!!what other organization in europe is built on seven hills???none other but the roman wide church!!!!!!!!did you know at the beginning of the coming european union!!!!!!??that it was originally six beneluxe concord european leaders who actually met in rome at a papal resort to sign what gave birth to the european bourgeois market!!!??exactly connecting this union with the seven heads it was the treaty of rome that gave the emergeance of this european unanimity!!!!!!and it was on one of the seven hills!!!!!!!so you see we are now close to a possible prophetic fulfillment that will begin the worst measure to come never known in the history of the world!!!!but look for two other nations that will also join with great britain in a later division against a european number one who will arise to reform the european nations as the prophet daniel and john the revelator in the book of revelation were donn insight!!!!!!he is coming!!!!!!!!
here is the scripture that makes reference to the woman(the apostate harlot>the world religous system that publication 13:1 connects with the beast with ten horns, and seven heads where this false religious system is headqrtered!!!!!babylon is not the where this faked system rises from!!!!!the name babylon is given because many of the false religious practices of the roman catholic church really have come from those false religious cults that once were instituted in anceint babylon!!!!!!!this is why the name is given!!!!!it doesn't mingy babylon will be the center of world prominence again!!!!!!but here is the scripture that clarifies where this false religious system is going to ascension!!
read revelation 17:1-18"but here is the main scripture i want to use here!!!:and here is the mind which hath judgement.the seven heads are seven mountains,on which the woman sitteth. revelation 17:9

rome is built on seven hills the maid is symbolically the roman catholic churc!!...

Oh at a high... You know more than five exclamation marks at the end of any one sentence marks you quite clearly as in need of sedatives? You extremity heavy duty Valium, mate.

I would suggest that prophecies made, supposedly, a couple of thousand years ago can be interpreted in many ways, enough, in incidental of fact, to fit almost any outcome.

Take, for example, this nonsense about ten Western European states as part of the EU. The EU contains twenty eight countries currently and does not split itself into ten here, ten there and eight over there.

When 'he' shows up, say hi for me. Because he's proper only to show up in your head.

How was life like in Great Britain during the 1550s and 1650s?

Do not explanation with "pretty good!" or "they lived in houses."
PLEASE.
This revolves mostly around Shakespeare, so any information on him would be a biiig plus.
Information would subsume what was going on in life and politics, the rules, etc.
Thanks so much!

How do elections in Great Britain work?

How does it trade? Are the Parliament members elected and the leader of the majority party is made prime minister? Or is it the reverse, or something else entirely? Please spell out simply, I really don't get politics in general, let alone foreign politics.

You got it [ simpler than U.S. ! where these 'primaries' are so tired ! ], a General Election is held, each area votes for a local candidate, from any party, candidates with most votes is elected to parliament. Dinner party with most elected members forms government, and leader of that majority party is Prime Minister. Big difference is the Prime Minster can be replaced by the fete if he is unpopular [ you're stuck with your president even if he sux ! ]

Why does Great Britain seem more secular then America?

I finish in the United States. We have separation of church and state (although it doesn't always seem that way). Our founding fathers were very clear on this result though. Why does it seem that in British politics the politicians do not go to extreme lengths regarding religion yet in America it's almost like you MUST be a Christian?

Also i've never been to England so if it is seems non-clerical is it obvious? (I know the church and state are not separate there as well but i'm just wondering and i know everyone there is not secular.)
From the answers i'm getting perhaps Great Britain is evolving at a faster stride intellectually due to her being established on this Earth for so long as i know America is younger.

It may be the factually that the Church of England is the state-sponsored religion that has led to the decline in church membership and religious practice in England. Church membership has been declining in Europe as well. Church membership has been rising about 1% per year in the U.S. while it has been declining in England and in Europe.

For some put two, people in the U.S. appear to believe that a secular government operating in total separation from the religious beliefs of the masses is a necessary component for democracy. Clearly, secular governments are not a requirement for democracy to exist in other parts of the existence. However, most European countries that support state religions have much smaller minorities whose religions are tolerated. People in the U.S. seem to have much less sufferance for the religious beliefs of minority populations, thus their right to exist is protected by law.

P.S. I disagree that most of the people who settled the U.S. were fleeing from rigorous persecution. That may be true of those who settled New England (and presented the rest of us with Puritan morality) and of a few Huguenots who settled mostly in South Carolina. Many were fleeing from factious persecution and others from famine. A significant portion weren't fleeing at all and were brought here against their will. The establishment clause in the First Pay came about because there were STATE religions in some New England states, and the First Amendment prohibited the federal government from interfering with those states while permitting the other states of the Actual Thirteen to have or not have state religions as they saw fit. It's only been in the last half-century that the Supreme Court has interpreted that amendment as giving the federal management powers to regulate religious practices on public property.
