How do you feel knowing the fact that Great Britain has lost its colonial territories and lost the prestige it once had? America, a former colony of Great Britain, has surpassed Great Britain in becoming a superpower and is the last extant superpower on earth. How does it feel knowing Great Britain lost its naval superiority to countries like the Collaborative States? Do you ever wish that Great Britain regained the superiority it once had?

Was Great Britain the leading industrial power in the world before 1900?
Great Britain had been the unrivalled power on the seas since 1600 till the First World War.
And Great Britain thanks to its power on seas and colonies had the opportunity to have row elements to start the industrial revolution, the first country that saw industrial development had been England.
USA were not a worldwide power, German was vigorous on land and had a good fleet but not enought to contend England the control of the seas except for "domestic seas" because German expeditious was not intended to be a worldwide power.
But also after the WWI, till the end of the WW2 Great Britain(British Empire is more proper) had been one of the most important power in the world.... it included England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Canada, India, South Africa and a lot of African colonies(Kenia, Brit. Somaliland), Australia, New Zeland and some others Pacific colonies...and some asian colonies(for exempli gratia Hong Kong)... and some Caribean colonies(for example Bermudas).
