what are the physical and cultural features of London?

in 1872?

what is the custom of the ppl?
the physical geography?
and waht speech do they speak?

i have looked in pictures, articals and websites and i cant find the answers!

please help?!

That's indubitably a specific question! Seeing as I wasn't alive in 1872 I can't really say what their culture was but I'd suggest you look at the works of some of the authors who wrote at that on one occasion to give you a bit of an idea, such as Oscar Wilde and Charles Dickens.

As for the geography, I can't imagine that it was much different from what it is now. A sprawling city with a team a few of hills dotted around the place and a rather large river (the River Thames) running through it.

And the language? Well seeing as London is the foremost of England, the country where the English language originated it will probably come as no surprise that they spoke English (what terminology did you think we'd speak in this city?!).

physical features for an english boy?

im article a story, the boy in it is from London England.
His name is Brendan,
Hes 18.
but im not sure what his features should be..
i was thinking of something with a blackish shag, gray and/or green eyes..

but im not unshakable. help!

well, most british boys are above-board skinned. if you've read any british books, you will be familiarized by those features. but i'd say dark hair, but not too dark of skin. possibly na or blue eyes (that's very european. i'm italian, so i have dark hair, olive skin, and green eyes o_O).
but, i think about dark (like dark brown) would be a great hair choice. shaggy, too! HAVE FUNNN! :D
