Experiences of living in different cities in England?
Apr 08, 2008 by Katrisha | Posted in Other - United Kingdom
I'm very recently curious to find out about the different cities people have lived in in England and their experiences be them good or bad?
I'm from Leicester and my partner's a Geordie, we abide in Leicester at the moment but plan to spend a year or two in another city before going abroad. Chances are we may end up in Newcastle but there's so many places I wouldn't be offended by hearing people's thoughts on areas they've lived in, not necessarily in or around Newcastle - they could be anywhere, our options are unclinched!
Cheers
I'm from reasonable oustide Middlesbrough - and whilst I love it because it means home, I would probably not recommend you live there!
I lived in London for a while - and yes, it is mind-boggling and vibrant, but it is also expensive and the people are so dismissive - they haven't got the time of day for you!!
Liverpool, where I went to University is quaint in the right areas and they are doing a lot to it this year for the City of Culture thing!
Weymouth was a joy! Fab beaches / scenery and enough prevalent on to keep you interested!
I live in Derby now which is great - the best place I've lived - its a growing city and has an ok incessantly life - not too big! - but the real joy is that in just 10-15minutes you can be in the open countryside too - I think it gives the win out over of both worlds!

What are some good New England coastal cities and attractions to visit?
Feb 23, 9695 by Mrs. Walker in May | Posted in Other - United States
I am getting married next root and my fiance and I are thinking of driving up the New England coast for our honeymoon. We want to spend some time in New York City, but we would also like to stopover Boston and other sites and cities. Any suggestions?
I'm not firm where you are starting from. Obviously, Philadelphia and Washington have plenty to do and see.
New York and Boston are great, naturally. We start getting into ride out issues, depending on the time of year you'll be going. Cape Cod has some nice places. Newport, R.I., is lyrical spectacular. The Maine coast is very pretty.

What towns/cities in England have good provision of homeless hostels?
Sep 12, 2008 by Andrew W | Posted in Other - Society & Culture
I have ended up vagabonds, partly due to mental health problems (manic depressive illness). I'm currently sleeping rough in the countryside.
What towns/cities have favourable provision of homeless hostels i.e. you can show up on any given night and most likely get in? I guess some towns/cities have good provision and others bad. Which ones are morality?
I am trying to work out where to go, you see.
Thanks in advance for any answers.
Why don't you on your local city council, maybe they will help you?
