Anyone willing to go to Stade de France to watch England vs South Africa rugby world cup match?
The anyhow has not started yet and it seems that this 2007 Rugby world cup is still asleep. However I beleive that the excitement will quickly build up after the event begins, as it always does for such events as planet cups.
After the first win of England, the prices of the tickets will go up… It will become increasingly expensive to support your team and your country… Of way, England has had a few drawbacks lately but (even though I hate admitting it) it is nevertheless the world champion!!! The match against South Africa will probably be one of the best clothes of this tournament…
I have 4 (four) ENGLAND v South Africa 2007 Rugby World Cup Tickets at the STADE DE FRANCE, ST DENIS PARIS FRIDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER.These are 4 tickets seated together in the Indecent section.

British pull in Africa, and a desire to play an elitist game. But South Africa is not the only country playing at RWC level. The following teams from Africa have been there:
South Africa (95, 99, 03, 07)
Namibia (99, 03, 07)
Zimbabwe (87,91)
Ivory Sea-coast (95)
Kenya and Tunisia also regularly play in the IRB 7s
Of the 95 countries on the official rankings list of the IRB, 12 are from Africa.

When was the last time the US played South Africa in Rugby?
How many times do the US amuse oneself with b consider other teams and what is their schedule like (annually)? Also what was the score for any games they did play against major teams?
What was the score of the 2002 brave in South Africa?
The Americans absolutely have a really long history in Rugby but they pretty much disappeared for 50 years between the 1920's and 1970's. They have an overall compact disc of 48-103-3 according to their website, with the two biggest wins (in terms of today's powerhouses) being over France back in 1920 and 1924.
Their first daring was against Australia which they lost 12-8 in 1912 and then played NZ in 1913 and lost 51-3. Those were their only games before the win over France.
They still don't run around a lot of games annually with their biggest competition being in the Pacific Rim championship and the Churchill Cup which usually involves Canada, NZ Maori and a passage of UK players.
They have the population to be a powerhouse in Rugby and if they can get a consistant league up and running, then get some professional players involved, they could well be the sleeping ogre of world rugby once the public realises that Rugby is a viable option to make a good living.
Oh, and to answer your question, they last played South Africa in Houston, Texas on Saturday December 1st 2001and desperate 43-20.
Where to buy a south africa offical rugby jersey, number 15, in Sydney ?
I tried at Mick Simmons on George St but all south africa jersey are sold out :(
You have the internet, so if you have a acknowledge card or access to one, then definately go to the South African Rugby Football Union (www.sarfu.org.za) site. You can order one there and they are usually catchy swift on the postage dates.
I always recommend going through the official union sites if you want "legitimate" merchandise. There are so many knock offs out there, some that look almost identical. This way you know you are buying through a reliable source, you have a identification b docket trail if it goes "missing" in the mail and you are 100% sure it's the real act on, not something that will look dodgy next to your buddy wearing the real thing... or fade to a weak colour in 2 months.
If you are not interested in buying online, then I have no perception where else in Sydney to look.
