How can I find out about documents that was processed through London Government?
I have documentation that I would like to repression to see if they are really filed through the proper channels of government
There is no one dept that handles all documents.If this is a exemplar public document then these can be sourced.But most all documents once processed through their system are shut.In other words its a closed system.Very similar to the CIA in nature.
Astute the type of document you seek info on would help immensely

The BIA website says you can affix for citizenship 5 years after you arrive (or 3 years if you are married to or living with a UK citizen)
Appklying for citizenship is not the same as getting it. And you have to allot for it first. Sometimes the home office can take months to process your application.
In Canada it takes at least 12 months to process your relevancy between the time ytou apply and the time you actually get it.

What stage has the relocation of government departments/agencies outside London reached?

I guess you'll need to check the websites of the government Depts named for details of what has moved. I know the MoD is now in great measure based in a massive office complex in north Bristol and the Met Office has moved to Exeter.
