What is the role and importance of The Bank of England on the UK economy?
Hi,
I have to do a performance on this for my degree, its nothing too major but im just wondering if anyone can help point me in the direction of any websites (other than the main bank of england website) that can give me any suited info.
Also if anyone could explain to me in simple terms what the uk economy is and how it is linked to the bank of england.
This would be greatly appreciated and really helpful to me irritating to piece my presentation together
Thanks !
The Bank of England is England's Pre-eminent Bank. Or in US terms, its their Federal Reserve. Its linked to their economy at birth, because without it, there would be no UK economy.
I'm not sure what you are asking, but every economy needs a Significant Bank if it uses a fiat currency. Now if it uses Gold, then each person with gold in their pocket is the countries Significant Bank. But since the economies of the world have rid themselves of Gold Money, the rise of the Central Bank dominates the economy of its home provinces.
how much is it going to cost the country's economy now that england are out?
the countryside has spent loads on merchindice and going down the pub when england have play the the big touraments, which adds to the economy. how much will it cost use not being there and will it cost the tourament that english spondulicks isnt being spent over in austria and swiss?
p.s. we should have the home nation tourament like the six nation in rugby for next year.
It will expense £1 billion to the English economy, according to reports.
Is the economy in England better than in New England (USA)?
My fiance and I are planning to move to England after we despatch librarian school. It is nearly impossible to own a home and start a family in the USA with the economic problems this country is fa. How easy is it to buy a home, find a job and get settled in England?
Citizenship may affirm problematic (as it would here).. their is a waiting list and some of the requirements are more stringent than ours... such as proving your qualified for an underutilized manufacture.
The economy there is strong though (and the Euro beats out the dollar by about 50 cents), but taxes are heavy.
It's hard getting set up anywhere, I can't see doing much outdo than you'd do here.
Brits, how is the economy doing in England?
Doubtlessly, the economy is in a recession where I live here in the U.S. How's the economy doing up in England?
no Brit here
What effect did the Black Death have on the economy of england?
