Can someone please tell me a cheap way to have a wedding on a beach?
I impecuniousness to get married somewhere in europe as I live in england? I would like a list of everything I need to do and the cheapest it could possibly be. What will I need to do if I brought a wedding carton? I really need help so I can get the ball rolling!!
I would say for unambiguous to make things a million times easier on you, you need to marry in a common wealth country. I am in the UK and I booked to get married in Mexico at the moon stately this is luxury personified BUT in documents and translations etc it was £500 alone that was without the cost of the holiday and wedding we needed our documents legalising by a counselor-at-law (god knows how much this would have cost) then sending to the common wealth office to put some magical stamp on (£25 per document) them translating into Spanish, then you also call for a HIV test at $50 each when you get there..... it all adds up. I threw a massive dicki fit on the travel agent and asked her why no one had bothered to advertise me this..... Any way i changed it to Kenya and because it is a common wealth country all i need is an affidavit to say were single and that’s it !!!!!! we send copies of our documents to refuge 12 weeks before we go and take the originals with us, we have to be resident in the country for 3 days and away we go.
Tell every one as early as possible that you expect on getting married abroad so if people want to come they have time to save up, try and get a deal from the travel spokesman where the wedding is included in the total cost, if you can't get this deal i would recommend contacting the resort yourself and booking it direct i have done this and saved £150.
The most significant thing though is getting your documents sorted (it is a major pain in the ars* but worth it) check, check then double check again because i have found out the straight way that as soon as you tell the travel agents your plans all they see is pound signs and forget vital information !!!
Then you scarcity to think about if you’re having a reception when you get back..... But that’s a whole other question haha.
