I moved recently to richmond BC and want to join a waterpolo club?

I liked in Ontario and recently moved with my girlfriend to BC. I take advantage of waterpolo, played in university, and want to continue playing. What are some of the waterpolo teams or clubs in richmond?

Richmond in point of fact outlawed waterpolo because the horses kept drowning. They're not a bright lot out there in BC, you know...

How is it like living in Richmond Victoria or its surrounding suburbs?

We are affecting to Australia in two months time. And all the feedback I am getting from friends and family who have gone there are positive so it is making us in fact excited.

But since they are family they might be a bit biased. So I would like to get strangers opinion.

How is living in Richmond or Melbourne?
What are things I have to beware off?
What should I be set for when we get there?

Richmond is an inner eastern suburb of Melbourne. It is walking space to the city and is well serviced by trams and trains. Parking can be a hassle and traffic is bad, particularly at peak times. There are a lot of restaurents there, explicitly Bridge Rd. and if you like Vietnamese, Victoria St. (it is a 'little Vietnam'). The shopping is very good there (both boutiques and mill outlets). There are a lot of pubs, some with live entertainment. You will be very close to the MCG, Rod Laver Arena and several other sporting/entertainment areas. Richmond is a bonny eclectic area as far as the people who live there and the types of housing. There are still are lot of old Victorian houses, lots of terrace houses, lots of apartments and some box commission flats, so there is a mixture of well off people through to new refugees. It has become pretty fashionable for double income no kids people who like the closeness to the town/restaurents/entertainment in the last decade or so. It is quite expensive to buy into now. There is not too much to be aware of, maybe the odd low life/drug addict/tippler that hangs around any big city. If you intend working in the city I would suggest either walking (through the Fitzroy Gardens) or cycling along the bike trail by the Yarra River.
Surrounding suburbs include Kew, South Yarra, East Melbourne and Hawthorn. They are all very intricate - they tend to have bigger properties, leafier streets and no housing commission and maybe a bit quieter.

Any other questions, don't sputter to ask.

How can I get back to Richmond Or Kingston Stations From London Late Tonight after new years celebrations?

I am not satisfied if the train service running from waterloo to either richmond, surbiton or kingston will be working and it is difficult to find out on the website. Please could someone advise me as I have heard it is swollen on New years eve in London.

Thanks
I would rather get the train to be honest. Where can i find if the specific train services are running?

Get the raise from Waterloo. They should be operating later for New Year's eve. Check with South West Trains to see when the last trains set off.

How do I get from Richmond Airport to Blacksburg?

How? Is there a bus for it? Or do I have to go from Richmond to Roanoke, and then to Blacksburg? I'm gonna be landing-place on Richmond's Airport and I'm kinda lost. Greyhound seems not to go that direction also.
Thanks.

I do not be acquainted with of any bus that drives from Richmond International Airport to Blacksburg, VA. Greyhound drives from Richmond to Roanoak. Amtrak rides from Richmond up to DC then back down to Lynchburg.

Roanoak is a bit closer to Blacksburg than Lynchburg. If you fly into Richmond, I would take a cab to the Greyhound Bus bus station. Take the bus to Roanoak. In Roanoak, see if you can get a cab to drive you down to Blacksburg.

Or, rent a car at Richmond International Airport and drive out there. It's a bit of a drive if you are bothered by from the flight, about 4 hours. But, if it's daylight, it's a nice drive. To get to Blacksburg from Richmond, you will drive two hours east on I-64. Then gourd south on I-81 for about an hour plus and you will be at Blacksburg. Print out Mapquest directions to give you a better idea.

If you do map on flying into an airport closer to Blacksburg, pay attention to what services are available for the area. Just because it is an airport does not hint at that there is bus service or car rental services.

Good luck!
